KISS, Iron Maiden and Biffy Clyro will headline Download Festival 2022. More than 70 bands just added
The Download Festival 2022 line-up has expanded with the addition of more than 70 rock and metal acts.
Joining previously announced headliners KISS, Iron Maiden and Biffy Clyro on the Main Stage are Deftones, Korn, The Pretty Reckless, Rise Against, Theory, Black Label Society, Monster Truck, Those Damn Crows, The Raven Age, Powerwolf, and Wayward Sons.
Thrash metal torchbearers Megadeth will top the Second Stage bill on the Friday night with Steel Panther on the Sunday line-up.
Other artists playing the Second Stage over the weekend are The Distillers, The Darkness, Airbourne, Skillet, Daughtry, Bush, Lacuna Coil, Ayron Jones, Of Mice & Men, Wednesday 13, Massive Wagons, The Last Internationale and Control The Storm.
The Avalanche Stage hosted by Kerrang! Radio will be headlined by The Ghost Inside on the Friday, Funeral For A Friend on Saturday, with punk legends Descendents bringing the tent to an emphatic close on the Sunday.
Boston Manor, Sleep Token, The Faim, Trash Boat, Marianas Trench, grandson, Holding Absence, Wargasm, Loathe, Press Club, Jamie Lenman, The Hara, Salem, Blackout Problems, Cemetery Sun, Dead Posey and Static Dress have also been confirmed for The Avalanche Stage.
Doom metallers Electric Wizard headline the Dogtooth Stage on Friday with Brazilian metal titans Sepultura topping the bill on Saturday.
Other acts on the Dogtooth Stage include Blues Pills, Dying Fetus, Bleed From Within, Twin Temple, Venom Prison, Bokassa, Tempt, Fire From The Gods, AA Williams, Higher Power, Kill The Lights, Modern Error, Cellar Door Moon Crow, Lotus Eater, The Scratch, Dead Label, Phoxjaw, Anchor Lane, As Everything Unfolds, Temples On Mars and The Injester.
Download Festival takes place at Donington Park in Leicestershire from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th June 2021. Tickets are on sale now.
